Hackle Stacker BWO

No comments yet

We once again have teamed up with John Parisi who is the shop manager at TCO Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania. At a relatively young age he has become an accomplished guide and flytyer who is well respected in the area, and is known for really knowing what works to trigger the trouts. John will in this video be tying a very interesting Blue Winged Olive imitation using the ”hackle stacker” technique for creating a parachute-style of fly. A simple but effective mayfly imitation with very few materials, a true must have in the box pattern for the upcoming trout season.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.

The Global FlyFisher was updated to a new publishing system early March 2025, and there may still be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.
